Fragrant red berries, pink peppercorn and salted pomegranate lead the aromatic charge; the flavours in the mouth follow suit. On the palate the tannins take over, asserting a dominance that teeters on overthrowing the succulence of the fruit. Here, it is savoury and almost stalky. It all comes together again through the finish, leaving a trail of chewy tannins and sultry dark fruit in its wake.

Deep and vibrant ruby-red in the glass. The nose lifts with blackberry, briar and iodine tones. Medium in weight but has great intensity of dark fruit and leafy complexities. Goes so long and driving to the dry finish. Every revisit opens another layer of interest, time in the glass or cellar will be well rewarded here.24 OCT 2021 Drink 2021–2036

Brimming with a concentrated palate of mulberry and cranberry fruits, balanced with a salivating cool climate acidity. There is a sweet richness of concentrated fruits finishing with a brick dust tannin that leaves you wanting another sip.
