One of the Pinard family’s more widely available cuvées, this opens with a delightfully smoky, bright and fresh nose. A very polished start to the palate, with no oak character showing here, instead a seamless substance, underpinned by delicious acidity, bitter and charged, which cuts through the elegantly formed fruit of the palate very well. A very fine substance, culminating in a long and slightly gripped character in the finish.

70% tank fermented and 30% barrel aged. As the name suggests this cuvee is very floral with fine delicate aromas. Fine crisp and very classic there is plenty of fruit here, lemon, lime and grapefruit zest with a ripe juicy acidity, a strong complex terroir dimension is obvious, too, with its chalky, mineral touches. Purity and finesse abound in this absolutely classic Sancerre.
