History and tradition: the Burgundian monks of Cîteaux set up the vineyard in Morgeot around 1150, a place called Chassagne Montrachet, and built the Abbey.
Soil: in the south of the Morgeot appellation, the soil is quite rich in clay and pebbles. The pinot noir will, on these soils, offer us freshness, purity and greediness.
