70/15/15% grenache/shiraz/mataro, hand picked from Marananga, Ebenezer, Koonunga and Lyndoch. Grenache was wild fermented with 30% whole bunches. Basket pressed; matured 18 months in seasoned French oak barrels. An elegantly medium-bodied blend in which the lead role of grenache is reinforced by carefully judged whole-bunch fermentation. Dark raspberries and fresh strawberries are fragranced with rose petal and musk, underscored by fine-grained tannins that carry a long and eloquent conclusion. Classy Barossa grenache.

Medium garnet in colour. A lovely fragrant nose of cherry, strawberry, green peppercorn and spice. The medium bodied palate is packed with bright red fruits, followed by soft tannins and peppery spice, all working in harmony with wonderful texture and mouthfeel. Immediately enjoyable, but will develop beautifully over the medium term.
