2019 Domaine de Ladoucette Sancerre Blanc Comte Lafond, Loire Valley

Pale yellow. Vibrant aromas of lime zest, wet stone and white pepper. The first impression on the palate is that of nervous energy, with fine precision to the citrus and dusty mineral flavours. Taut in a classic Sancerre style, but with an inner balance that provides this sauvignon blanc with a certain distinction. Lively citrus flavours linger on the nicely focused, slightly edgy finish.

Owned by the Ladoucette family since 1788, the Domaine De Ladoucette is the largest and most famous holding in the Pouilly area. The estate is acclaimed at producing some of the finest Sauvignon Blancs in the region.
