Here the slightly riper nose reflects exotic fruit aromas that include notes of mango, passion fruit and white peach that are trimmed in notes of petrol, quinine and shellfish. There is even better density to the sappy dry extract-rich big-bodied flavors that flash good power if perhaps a bit less minerality on the wonderfully textured, long and well-balanced finale. This isn't quite as structured as the regular cuvée and should be approachable after only 4 to 5 years of cellaring.

Clos des Hospices dans les Clos is a family monopole, property of the Moreau family since 1904, date of its acquisition by Louis’ great-great-grand-father. In the past, this single parcel was enclosed within walls of dry stones and belonged to the monks of Chablis Hospices, hence its name of 'Clos des Hospices'.
Grand Cru Clos des Hospices is located within Les Clos and it produces exceptional wines, displaying great generosity. Full and expressive, with a nice minerality confirmed by an elegant length in the finish.
