The soft tannins in this young Barbaresco are very seductive. Ripe strawberry and light chocolate with cream and berry undertones. It’s full-bodied and layered with pretty integration. Lots of tension, too. This is voluptuous for the vintage. Drinkable now, but better in two or three years.

Barbaresco Roncaglie fascinates with its elegance and pleasantness, with spicy and velvety aromas that envelop the nose and palate, leaving a long gustatory persistence. Excellent aging potential.
Deep garnet red, exuberant and complex aromas of blackberries, spices, undergrowth, wild rose and violet. “Classic” Barbaresco with the elegance of the Roncaglie cru: rich, enveloping and intense in the mouth. Personality and pleasantness with a very long finish of velvety tannins, and great aging potential. It is a great wine for the whole meal, it goes best with red meats and feathered game.
