Previous vintage labelled as the Reserve. Fruit is sourced from a single vineyard in the southern Barossa subregion of Lyndoch at 250m elevation. Vibrant bright red-purple colour, with abundant dark plum fruit backed by an array of spice, berry compote, espresso, crème de cassis and dark chocolate. It has a lovely flow across the palate, gentle, dusty tannins and trails away with rich berry fruit, spice and cedary oak nuance.

Youthful, dark, inky and purple in the glass. A lift of eucalyptus, although the main drive on the nose is plum, blackberry, bramble and a cool menthol woodsy edge. Full-flavoured, plush, rich and dark fruit, satsuma plum and blackcurrant, layered, long and structured. The wine has real life and brightness to it, the tannins are firm and layered and the length is impressive. 23 AUG 2021 Drink 2021–2036

Harvested and then crushed into traditional open top fermenters. Free run and pressings are usually kept separate and a combination of new and aged oak barrels are used for a maturation of between 18-24 months. The wine is then blended from a combination of single vineyard shiraz that has been aged separately in French, American and Hungarian Oak.
