2019 Wooing Tree Pinot Noir, Central Otago

Appealing, aromatic pinot noir, with almost lush plum and berry fruit flavours together with spice, anise and a suggestion of fresh herbs. Fine, peppery tannins give the wine a gentle backbone. It lacks a little depth. 22 DEC 2020 Drink 2021–2026 13.5% ABV

Ripe hand picked fruit, gentle winemaking and maturation in French oak have resulted in a complex and powerful wine, with aromas of red berry fruits and violets, a rich and silky smooth palate and a long spicy finish. A great example of one of the best Central Otago Pinot Noirs. Excellent value, drinking fantastically well now and will develop and cellar for several years.
