Medium and bright red-cherry hue. Redcurrants and dry herbs on the nose. Simple and bright red fruits, some herbal layers with a dark mineral undertone show on the palate. A nice powder of drying tannins gives definition to the finish. A good value pinot noir31 MAR 2021 Drink 2021–2028

Brings Grampians pinot noir into perspective here. A region most noted for shiraz can indeed make a charming and softly textured pinot noir of note. Tasted soon after bottling but already revealing lively wild strawberry, chewy cherry, some earthy spice notes and a supple palate sitting upright and ready to go.
