A discreet but perceptible dollop of wood sets off the markedly earthy and black raspberry aromas. The notably rich, suave and mouth coating flavors possess a succulent, even opulent, texture while delivering good length on the dusty, chalky and unusually powerful finish.
88 points Allen Meadows Burghound Outstanding Top Value April 22
A relatively new cuvee for the Domaine from a 2.8-hectare plot. Stephane Follin Arbelet is very excited to be working with this village that is producing excellent wines from one of the more accessible communes of the Cote d’Or & becoming more prominent for astute buyers recognising its close proximity to the Hill of Corton. Ruby & purple colour with fresh nose of redcurrants and strawberry with fine tannins – all destemmed with 18 months elevage in 1/3 new oak.
