Pinot blanc from Clarence Plains in the Coal River Valley. Pale straw with a flash of green. Aromas of citrus, guava, feijoa and poached pears with hints of soft spice, crushed stone, clotted cream, lemon curd, melon, white flowers and dried herbs. Rich, expansive and mouth-filling, the aromas transpose neatly over to the palate, which shows a tight acid drive and lemon curd and tropical fruits on the finish.

Made by Justin Bubb and Anna Pooley at Pooley wines the 2019 Pinot Blanc is fresh with delightful fruit characteristics. Pinot Blanc is an Alsatian grape, mutated from Pinot Noir, and makes an elegant drinking wine with balance between fruit and acid. Excellent with most foods or as an aperitif.
