Slender and dynamic in the main profile it alternates notes of lemon flowers, linden, wild thyme, oregano, juniper berries and nutmeg. Lots of black cherries and wild strawberries describe the secondary scene. Full body, well polymerized tannins and a remarkably persistent finish. Stunning expression made in Vulture. Better from 2025.

Working only with Aglianico from her family’s vineyards on Monte Vulture, Elena Fucci created a new classic in Italian winemaking. The Fucci’s six hectares of sixty year old vines are located on the Titolo lava channel, grown at 600 metres on a volcanic lava mix known locally as pozzolana. This is a wine that really speaks of its origins, both place and grape.
