Chorey-Lès-Beaune is one of the lesser-known appellations in Burgundy, and is located just outside Beaune. You get value for money from several producers – including Pavelot's wines. The field Les Beaumonts is the best terroir in Chorey-Lés-Beaune, and is actually on the Savigny side. The field is no less than 41 hectares and does not own land on the field itself, but buys the grapes from a regular supplier. Therefore, this becomes a so-called negociant wine.
