The 2020 growing season started of being quite warm to start off with and then developed into a typical mild day and cool night pattern in the all important last two months of the growing season.
The fruit fermented in small open vats at between 18-22 c degrees . After Fermentation was completed, the wine was transferred to French oak hogsheads for maturation. After 14 months maturation the wine was clarified and bottled.
Lifted notes of blackberry and dried herbs. The rich yet elegant palate displays black fruit flavours at the fore with hints of white pepper coming through before a long soft velvety tannin finish.
