Poderi Aldo Conterno Barolo Romirasco is a commanding and deeply expressive Barolo from one of the most revered crus in all of Piedmont. Hailing from the legendary Romirasco vineyard within the Bussia cru in Monforte d’Alba, this wine is the heart and soul of the Aldo Conterno estate—a powerful, age-worthy Nebbiolo with extraordinary depth, structure, and finesse.

Romirasco sits high on the Bussia slope, with a perfect south-facing exposure and calcareous clay soils that produce fruit of intensity and elegance. The vines are among the oldest on the estate, and the Romirasco bottling is often considered the closest expression to a Riserva—crafted only in the best vintages, from the estate's most exceptional parcels.

The late Aldo Conterno was a true icon of Barolo, blending traditional and modern approaches with a deep respect for the land.
