Black spices, plum and red flowers with delicate oak characters. The tannins are fine and long. Earth and red flowers and spices dominate the flavours, finishing with a soft texture.Made from a blend of clones; Waldron, 470 and 174. This is seriously good. It is earthy and textured, slightly more grounded than the Acacia shiraz from 2020 (which I also loved, it's just different to this) and loaded with red berries, earthy spice and shaped by oak. The tannins are a real highlight, they're slightly gravelly, slightly chewy, and add an extra dimension of pleasure to the wine. A standout.
