This Shiraz wassourced from five Barossa Valley vineyards and three vineyards in the Eden Valley, including a 110-year-old parcel. The wine was aged in French and American oak and shows great primary, regional characters of plum, blackberry, anise and cedar oak. The palate is layered and plush, and the fruit tannin dominates the oak tannin. Medium- to full-bodied, the wine is long and comes to a clean finish with the fruit tannin providing a defined, but not abrupt end.
