Very deep, bold and bright purple-colour and the aromas are wonderfully clear, clear and pure, speaking loudly of cabernet sauvignon subtly backed with classy oak. The palate is supremely elegant and beautifully proportioned, with concentration but also elegance and style. A wine of real panache and great potential for cellaring. (50% cabernet franc, 33% cabernet sauvignon, 17% merlot)

33% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Cabernet Franc, 17% Merlot
A youthful, deep purple/ruby red colour and an enticing violet fragrance introduce aromas of blackcurrants and blackberries along with hints of bramble, cedar, licorice, and toast. Ripe blackcurrant/blackberry flavours, savoury oak, fine-grained tannins, and juicy acidity combine to produce a supple, textural palate that glides effortlessly to a long and succulent finish.
A stylish “The Gimblett” that will only get better with time. Drink from 2023 to 2037. Decant before serving.
