2021 Ca di Bruno Langhe Nebbiolo DOC, Piedmont

The Rivetti family grows Barbera, Nebbiolo, Moscato. Since 2009 no pesticides or herbicides have been used, only the use of natural fertilizers, such as mixing organic cow manure with secondary products leftover from fermentation. The manual collection of worms in spring that feed on the buds, compromising production is also another hands on approach to sustainability in the vineyard. Ca' di Bruno take pride in vine health and vine management, vine age varies from 35 to 75 years old with each vintage having limits on yields per hectare to maximize the grape quality, the terroir and production areas. Ca' di Bruno only select the best quality fruit, with the use of natural fermentations and minimal addition of sulphur dioxide in the cellar.

Aromas of dried herbs, flowers and leaf litter. Medium bodied, with savoury red fruit balanced by firm but fine tannin backbone. Lovely depth and balance.
