The 2021 Doisy-Daene is fabulous. Sweet floral notes orchard fruit mint and passionfruit all end notable flavour intensity. The 2021 is rich and anxious but not at all heavy. It is a fabulous example of both the chateau and vintage.

Wildflower notes with green apple and lime zest on the nose. Freshness and livelines on the palate, this has an immediate appeal in terms of being bright and playful as well as having that core of caramelised oranges, dried yellow raisins, yellow plums, crunchy green apple and lemon zest. I love the clarity and the execution here with tangy acidity that makes the mouthwater and want more.

Lots of spicy character with dried apple and tarte tatin. Caramel, too. Full-bodied and medium-sweet with an intense finish. Powerful. Best ever?

This is intense and concentrated with grated ginger, powerful citrus rind and mandarin puree. Great quality, luscious and well balanced with searing acidity. But with a painfully tiny 1.3hl/h yield, you have got to feel for the team involved in making it work.
