2021 Chalk Hill Chalk Hill SBR Nebbiolo, McLaren Vale

A class  Italian red wine grape variety predominantly associated with its native Piedmont region.   This is a complex style, translucent (like Pinot!) and has a delicate smell, but when you taste you are greeted with robust tannin and high acidity. 

Layers of rose petal and cherries. A medium to full bodied wine with a textured mouthfeel. It is complex with red fruits and an overlying rose petal note. Itf finishes long and dry with tannins matched by acidity. Pair it with Rustic Gourmet Pinsa with Salami.
