The delicacy inherent in Porongurup rieslings can be deceiving – you see spring florals and you see chalk, and you come to a 'delicate' conclusion. But 'delicate' doesn't cover the extension of flavour and intensity through the finish, which seems to come so effortlessly to the producers in the area. This has jasmine, green apples, lemon zest and limestone on the nose and palate. Poised and super-pretty, this has all the length to indicate that the fruit has the horsepower required for ageing, but as with all Porongurup rieslings, it is beautiful to drink in its youth, too. Choose your weapon.

Pale quartz in colour, the bouquet has lime and apple with chalky minerality. Flavours of lime and chalky minerality follow suit on the palate with spices and lime. The acidity is tight knit and long and the texture is soft.
