The 2021 Becker Vyd. Koonunga Shiraz is inky and intense, with charry oak and toasted coconut characters swirling throughout the red palate. It has notes of kicked-up red dirt, loads of fruit and lashings of earthy/woodsy spice. The oak here feels more gritty and intense than in other cuvées; it fits with the fruit.
