Mouth-watering, bone-dry riesling with saline, oyster-shell, lemon blossom and wild flowers. Intense, linear and lengthy. Textural wine with impressive weight and a lingering finish. A wine of two lives: full of youthful vigour now but with added toasty complexity when it hits maturity in a decade or so. 16 SEP 2021 Drink 2021–2039

Blossom and lime with white peach leading to a stony richness and great texture on the palate. The wine possesses a depth which is becoming more evident with the increasing vine age, giving a serious complexity to the palate and a core seam of acid. A completely clean and long finish. This is the 20th iteration of this wine, and it might be the finest Dry Riesling yet.
