Developed riesling with ginger, lime, white rose flavours. Smooth-textured wine with an initial suggestion of sweetness leading to a crisp, dry-ish finish. Pleasing complexity.

Sweet apple, floral, piercing nose. A touch of spice and funky lees complexity on the fuller, just off-dry palate which broadens out to honey and a weighty, powerful finish. Almost creamy in intensity, it is Alsatian in style. Good lees work, lovely depth.

These grapes were hand-picked and whole bunch pressed. Unclarified musts were settled for 12 hours before racking off gross solids to a mixture of stainless steel barrels and older oak. Fermentation was allowed to start spontaneously, and the components were left on full ferment lees for 9 months before blending and bottling. Over the total volume, approximately 25% was fermented in old oak.
