Matured 9 months in seasoned French oak barrels. Varietal hallmarks of sweet blackcurrant and cassis define an exact and desperately youthful Barossa cabernet. Nicely gauged support from high-cocoa dark chocolate oak carries a long finish, enlivened by firm, grainy, young tannins. Its glossy, sweet fruit core is immediately enticing, but those tannins need time.
