Very cool and smoky on the nose, almost salty and with fine ethereal notes, very light fruit, but this remains much more subtle than, for example, with Mosel Riesling, very animating and intense. On the palate, the Piesporter begins with a sparse structure, hard minerality that almost brings a tannin-like presence, salty and pure, plus a dancing acidity and delicate fruit, white peach and some lychee, the rest is actually only characterized by the stone and minerality.
