The nose has saline, iodine notes boosted by citrus and lime flavours – it is detailed and has a classic, assertive, mineral, reductive character adding to the complexity. The acidity brings a multi-layered dimension to the palate, it is big, rich and round with an excellent crescendo finish, while retaining beautiful freshness. This Grand Cru will benefit from five to six years’ cellaring to reveal its full potential.

7 climats can be called Grand Cru in Chablis : Preuses, Bougros, Les Clos, Grenouilles, Blanchot, Valmur and Vaudésir. Those vineyards are all situated on the right side of Le Serein river, on the hill. This situation gives a strong and full-bodied character to the wine.
