If you care to know, malbec comes in at 44%, cabernet sauvignon at 39% and petit verdot at 18%; only the cabernet sauvignon is aged in some new French oak (about 30%) for about 16 months. Lovely fragrance of red roses, warm earth, cedary oak and a hint of mint while flavours are red and blackcurrants, spicy salami and clafoutis. Full bodied with persuasive, raspy tannins that need more time to settle into the wine, and they will.
