Delicious organic Clare Valley white with excellent cellaring potential
The scented white flower and lime blossom aromas promise much to come on the palate, and don't deceive. It is utterly delicious, with swathes of lime and pink grapefruit which are fruit-sweet (not residual sugar). Absolutely out of the box. Drink to 2036.
97 points & Special Value James Halliday for for Halliday Wine Companion, December 2021
Bright light yellow colour; Flowery, yeasty, faintly toasty/straw notes, the palate rich and full, intense and voluminous, with a firm texture and a very dry, lingering follow-through. Seems like a riper wine. Textured with phenolics. Drink to 2033.
95 points Huon Hooke for The Real Review, August 2022
This reflects a strong vintage, with sleek, piercing and elegantly powerful style. Really in the zone. Aromas of lime juice, lime peel, sliced apricot and wet stones, as well as a spicy edge. The palate is strikingly flavorful and pure with lime taking center stage. More fresh apricot here, too. From biodynamically grown grapes. Drink or hold.

The remote, isolated Mount Horrocks Watervale vineyard is in the north-eastern corner of this famous Clare Valley subregion, planted on highly prized red loam over limestone. This certified organic site produces beautifully balanced organic fruit and wines that have excellent cellaring potential.
