This wine has beautiful aromas of lemon, orange blossom and pear with just a hint of yellow apple and stone fruit coming through on the nose. The palate is layered with a fresh and vibrant acidity. This wine has an incredible depth to it and is complex with a lingering finish.
Reyneke was formed in 1998 when Johan Reneke Jr took over the family farm from his mother and produced the first wine under the Reneke label. One of the pioneers of biodynamic viticulture in South Africa and the vineyard is certified as organic and biodynamic by Demeter. The 40 hectare farm is located in Stellenbosch.
A brilliant, ethically produced range of wines that have gathered much praise from the international wine press in a short period of time.
