A single-vineyard wine. Light cherry red in colour, this is already showing some tertiary aromas with its red fruits and forest floor/damp earth notes. Similarly forward on the palate, this fleshy, mouth-filling wine lingers nicely and can be enjoyed now and over the next three to four years.

Taken from cooler Yarra Valley sites for freshness and bright fruit. Everything you’d want in a top-quality Yarra Valley Pinot Noir; red fruits shine up front with layers of savoury and spice supporting with elegance and depth of flavour; bright and finely structured.
Autumn bonfires. Dry rubbed pork ribs falling off the bone.
Rob Dolan has been making wine in the Yarra Valley for over 20 years, and knows every nook and cranny there. In 2011 he was able to purchase the Hardys Yarra Burn winery at an enticing price. It is singularly well equipped, and in addition to making the excellent Rob Dolan wines there, he conducts an extensive contract winemaking business.
