At release, the wine has a crimson red colour with a dark rose hue to the edge.
The wine has complex aromas of dried orange, raspberry and plum along with hints of savoury tobacco leaf.
This is a juicy, medium-bodied wine with flavours of raspberry along with hints of red cherry, fresh mint and clove spice. Overall the palate is well-balanced between fruit sweetness and savoury spice. A very tasty and delectable wine with a graceful finish.
The wine was matured for 9 months in older (4+ years) French oak hogshead barrels prior to bottling.
Crafted for immediate enjoyment but will cellar over a medium term under ideal conditions.
