The 2021 vintage provided excellent conditions across Tuscany, delivering ripe, healthy fruit with depth and freshness. Deep ruby red in colour, the bouquet is rich and inviting with aromas of black cherry, ripe plum and blackberry layered with dried herbs, sweet spice and a hint of cocoa. Notes of tobacco leaf, vanilla and earthy undertones emerge with time, adding warmth and complexity. The palate is smooth and full flavoured, combining ripe dark fruits with velvety tannins, balanced acidity and a touch of savoury spice. The finish is long, rounded and satisfying, lingering with dark berries, chocolate and Tuscan herbs.
