The fruit is sweet, ripe, berried and soft, and while the aftertaste carries a slight bitterness, it's not enough to nag at you. Essentially, this tastes of bay leaves soaked in blackcurrant and offers affable drinking.

Cabernet has a very long history in Langhorne Creek and is one of the original red varietals that established the region. This fruit was grown on ancient alluvial flood plain soil, traditional to this area and as a result of an individual parcel selection, has allowed us to show the pure varietal expression of Langhorne Creek Cabernet.
It displays a classic ripe cassis aroma with supportive savoury notes. A well balanced palate showing ripe dark fruits enhanced by a silky textural finish.
This wine will develop with further bottle maturation however the fine tannin structure means the wine can be enjoyed now. Matches well with a pasta, red meat or cheese.
