A juicy and pretty red with plums and berries, together with hazelnuts and chocolate. Medium body. Creamy tannins and a delicious finish. Extremely well done for this.

The 2022 Teyssier, 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, is deep garnet-purple in color. It comes bounding out of the glass with exuberant notes of stewed black and red cherries, redcurrant jelly, and fruitcake, plus wafts of dried roses and Chinese five spice. The medium to full-bodied palate is plush and spicy, jam packed with red and black berry layers, finishing long and peppery. pH 3.67.
