Malbec is joined by 7% petit verdot, aged seven months in oak, 50% new. What you’re greeted with is an outrageously dark purple hue – so enticing in the glass. Then violets, plums and mulberries come to the fore with squid ink and charcuterie, nori and savoury nuances following closely. The palate is rich and big, packed with decent tannins and a little dry and refreshing acidity to close. Impressive and will mellow more in time

This quality wine was produced on a certified Biodynamic, Carbon Neutral and naturally powered estate. The grapes were harvested from the prime selections of the eastern blocks of the Mangan vineyard, as usual showcasing the best of the specific season.
