2022 Faiveley Bourgogne Rouge, Burgundy

This is quite a serious wine for the humble appellation. Plenty of red cherry fruit. A surprising amount of structure on the medium-bodied palate. Bright, almost crisp finish. Matured for six months in oak casks previously used for the 1er and grand cru wines. Drink now.

A beautiful ruby colour. This wine has pleasant, fresh, red-fruit aromas on the nose, which we find again on the palate. It has rich and very ripe substance, with fine round tannins. It's a very well-structured and pleasant wine.
