2022 Gros & Tollot Les Fontanilles Minervois, Languedoc-Roussillon

Gros & Tollot is a collaboration between two renowned Burgundy winemakers, Anne Gros and Jean-Paul Tollot, who have brought their expertise to the Languedoc-Roussillon region. Their Les Fontanilles Minervois is a reflection of the unique terroir of Minervois, combining Mediterranean warmth with the precision of Burgundy craftsmanship. The vineyard is situated on a complex mix of soils, which gives the wine its depth and complexity.

Syrah, Grenache, Carignan & Cinsault
 
This is a complex terroir, oriented northwest, made up of small patches of vineyards surrounded by scrublands of pine trees, wild thyme and rosemary, on which grow the 4 varietals of the domaine. Les Fontanilles is a cuvee that combines maturity and freshness and offers a bouquet of red and black fruits, and peppery spices. This wine goes particularly well with grilled meats and barbecues.
