Perfumed Barossa blend of Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro with generous, complex flavours
Co-fermented grenache and mataro, 100% whole bunch, plus destemmed shiraz, aged in large oak casks for 18 months. Deep magenta/purple with aromas of satsuma plum, black cherry and boysenberry. Hints of baking spices, dried blueberries, wood spice, pastis, dark-chocolate-dipped raspberries, blossom and earth. Quite deeply fruited with an earthen edge, deep spice layers, fine silty tannins and some bright mineral twang on the fade. Drink to 2036.

Rock:it is a generous and flavoursome blend of Barossa Valley Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro that were harvested from three different vineyards just days apart. Brightly perfumed, the palate is rich and full-bodied with lifted finesse and complexity.
This would be a treat with deeply flavoured spice rubs, try with something like Sri Lankan Kalu Pol beef or pork belly carnitas with salsa Borracha.
