From the Bracken Vineyard in Blewitt Springs, now owned by Jericho, off 1955-planted dry-grown vines on Maslin sands. This does bright, modern grenache well, with a tilt towards fresh fruit, but no dip into confection. It’s still a juicy affair, leaning into berry Danish, liqueur cherry and raspberry. Light grapey tannins pull the finish together neatly in what is best a drink soon-ish proposition to fully appreciate its fruitful charms.
