2022 Jermann Vintage Tunina IGT, Friuli-Venezia Giulia

The nose is intense, wide, very elegant and persistent with scents of honey and country flowers. To the palate it is dry, soft, well balanced with an extraordinary persistence due to its full body. It matches with first courses with truffles with fish dishes and poultry. It is a great match with fresh salmon stuffed with parmesan cheese and artichokes.

Jermann Vintage Tunina IGT hails from Friuli-Venezia Giulia in northern Italy, crafted by the renowned Jermann winery. Founded in 1881, Jermann has become celebrated for producing high-quality, innovative wines that showcase Friuli’s distinct terroir. Vintage Tunina, first created in the 1970s, is a unique blend of predominantly Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay, with smaller portions of Ribolla Gialla, Malvasia, and Picolit. This wine is named after an old vineyard plot and a tribute to "Tunina," a historic term in Friuli, reflecting Jermann’s connection to the region.
