2022 Kilikanoon Skilly Valley Pinot Gris, Clare Valley

Pinot Gris is often seen as a temperamental variety so when ideal growing conditions produce full and evenly ripened bunches that are flavour rich before they overly sweeten – an exceptional wine is produced. The 2022 Skilly Valley was solely crafted from the bright free run juice which shows the true purity of the fruit flavour. These soft varietal flavours of pear and green apple are mimicked by the natural acidity producing a long flavour driven finish.

 A local blend sourced mostly from our cool climate Skilly Valley vineyard near the picturesque Kilikanoon cellar door with an addition from our high altitude Trillians Hill vineyard in Penwortham.
