Why "Les 8" ? Louis has always had a special attachment for this plot located on the heights of the village of Viviers, exposed south, and whose soil once contained the black gold 'Tuber uncinatum' or Burgundy truffle. Since 2014, the 8 arpents represented by this plot are grown without any chemical inputs and are harvested by hand, like the Premiers Crus and Grands Crus. The Chablis 'Les 8' is a pure expression of the Chablis terroir.
Chablis Les 8 is generous and supple, its nose expresses aromas of fern and ripe fruits with yellow flesh, supported by a discreet but present minerality that can be found in mouth with notes of mushrooms and limestone. Its moderate attack goes crescendo and leaves place to a beautiful persistence in the mouth, worthy of a Premier Cru.
