The base wine sees maturation in second- and third-use French oak hogsheads. On lees for 14 months. Kalamata olive, blackberry and mulberry. Cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. Shiso leaf and coffee grinds. Nicely weighted with spice and fine tannins. A balanced sweetness.

The Majella Sparkling shiraz has become a bit of an icon for the passionate sparkling shiraz drinker. Big broody Christmas cake fruit, with a large chocolate edge. Bloody delicious!

Exhibiting a fine bead with attractive fresh plum, raspberry and blackberry aromas with similar black fruit characters and a hint of spice on the complex palate, which is smooth, balanced and luscious with gentle tannins and a generous finish.
It's a great wine for any occasion, and goes well with most food styles.
