Chopped pears, biscuits, lemon rind and green mangoes here, with some smoked almond notes. It’s medium- to full-bodied, with hints of reductive flintiness and vibrant acidity. Excellent clarity. Sustainable. Drink or hold. Screw cap.

Appealing, accessible chardonnay with an initial hint of fruit and alcohol sweetness leading to nicely integrated acidity that helps drive a lengthy finish. A mix of subtle mineral and citrus flavours. Great value at this price 17 JUN 2023 Drink 2023–2028

Comes from sites within the Moutere Hills, including the young vines at Neudorf’s own Rosie’s Block. Classically Neudorf, in restraint and modernity, Tiritiri is a Chardonnay lover’s package. A balanced collaboration of fruit, oak, acidity and finesse. The wine from nose to palate is generous without ever being overblown. There’s a warm familiarity of juicy, summer fruits intertwined with sea-air minerality. Todd’s use of oak frames the wine guiding it gently, without demanding attention. All elements are laced together with a fine strand of acidity on the back palate, leaving a long, refreshing and moreish finish.
