From '98 plantings of MV6 at Gladysdale; 30% whole bunches. Matured in 300L and 500L casks (less than 10% new). Pretty and delicate with its aromas of alpine strawberries, rose petal and spice. More depth than the '21. Impeccably balanced and light on its feet, fine grained and ever so gently chewy tannins round out a wine that's approachable now but will keep.

An allure of aromatics with fruits of the forest, red berry with a hint of pomegranate, a touch of Chinese five spice, earth and stem.
The palate has a great vibrancy of fruit flavour that is balanced perfectly with supple fruit tannins, raspberry and dark cherry flavours abound with a bright acid line in support and providing drive. Juicy, succulent and pure.
A traditional winemaking approach was used to produce this wine – 85% whole berry fermentation with 15% whole bunch inclusion in open vessels for two weeks followed by a 10 month maturation in French oak barrels.
