Meunier – from the French, meaning Miller, the variety is a mutation of pinot noir. The leaves of this variety are covered with small white hairs, giving the appearance of the leaves being sprinkled with flour.
Vibrant crimson with a purple hue. Aromas of plum, dark cherry and raspberry leap from the glass, with notes of pomegranate and a hint of spice adding complexity. The palate is vibrant with an abundance of red fruits – red currants and cherries, notes of spice, rhubarb, and rosemary. A delicate yet lingering line of acid providing length and finish.
