Cath Oates is chuffed with her ’22 tempranillo. Understandable – it’s delicious. An alluring dark purple-red hue with cherries of the same colour all spiced up with a touch of menthol and licorice. A little earthy and savoury, and the medium-bodied palate is alive with juicy acidity and svelte tannins with a texture of raw silk. And not a technical term but 'yum'.
